69 YEARS OF HISTORY

The Greek Language School of Saint Demetrios was established in 1942 and since 1965 is located in Upper Darby. For the last 69 years the Greek School has struggled to teach and maintain the Greek language, culture, history, traditions and the Greek Orthodox religion. The purpose of the school is to teach the younger generations but also instill the love of Greek Culture. Our school is the only afternoon school in the Philadelphia area that offers 6 weekly hours of classes.
The school is a non-profit organization of the Greek Orthodox Community of St. Demetrios, Upper Darby, PA.

SCHOOL HOURS
Every Tuesday and Friday from 6:00 to 8:30 pm.
The school year runs from the 2nd week of September till the 1st week of June.
FREE PARKING IS AVAILABLE BEHIND THE CHURCH. ENTRANCE IS IMMEDIATELY TO THE LEFT OF THE CHURCH.
